There’s a global shortage of face masks right now making it hard for the general public to get hold of them, we wanted to do what we could to help our community protect themselves against COVID-19. After a few requests from customers we realised our existing towel material would actually be great for making masks thanks to the double layered fabric. So we set to work making them, up-cycling off cuts from our existing towel material and of course making some colourful versions to try and spread a little brightness at a pretty turbulent time.
We all need to work together to help fight the spread of Coronavirus so this is our small way of helping our customers get hold of the protection they need. For every mask sold we’ll donate 25% of the sale to The Red Cross Coronavirus Response (British and American) so they can provide crisis relief to those who really need it.
No our masks aren’t medical grade and are not intended for medical use nor should they replace other recommended measures to stop the spread of Coronavirus such as regular hand washing and social distancing. Always follow the latest government advice on how to prevent the spread of Coronavirus and if you need medical grade personal protective equipment consult a medical professional.
Yes our masks can we re-worn but should be washed thoroughly between uses. You should always maintain thorough hand hygiene and avoid touching your face and mask whilst using it, only doing so when ready to remove the mask.
If you're finding it hard to breath in your mask try lowering it away from your nose so there's breathing room. If you encounter any other issues please contact our team at firstname.lastname@example.org who are always happy to help.
Our masks can be machine washed in between uses. We suggest washing at a high temperature to help kill as much bacteria as possible. Do not microwave, this is not a proven method of killing bacteria.
For hygiene reasons and the safety of all our customers you are not able to return our face masks. If you have an issue with your mask please contact our team email@example.com

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking code so you can follow your order to it's new home.

Returns & exchanges

If you’re not happy with your product, we’ll understand...
To request a refund, please get in touch via our contact us page to let us know why and we’ll get back to you with all the information. You will be refunded as soon as your return is received by our warehouse and you'll receive an email confirming your refund.
We’re unable to provide free returns for unwanted items and incorrect selections so please choose carefully when shopping.

You will be refunded to your original payment method when our warehouse have processed your return and you will receive an email confirming your refund.
Please note that it can take 3-5 working days for the refund to appear in your account and please contact your bank if you're having any issues with this.
If you would like to exchange your items for a different colour or size, we suggest placing a new order and returning your unwanted items to us for a full refund.
Please make sure that you’re happy with your choices before submitting your order, returns postage is at the cost of the customer.
Personalised items are non-refundable, even if you make a mistake, so please double triple check everything is perfect before placing an order!

We hold our products to the highest quality standards, because you deserve the very best. If your product is less than perfect within the first 12 month of use (including rips, tears, discolouration, colour runs) then we’ll get it replaced, free of charge.
Please note that you will need to sign up for the warranty within 30 days of purchase.
Our warranty cover includes rips, tears, discolouration due to colour runs which are due to manufacturing or delivery issues.
It does not cover issues caused by general wear-and-tear, such as staining.

Products & Care
Other 'quick dry' towels that we've used in the past haven't been so effective. They tend to have quite a rough texture and feel horrible on any patches of dry skin. Then when you try to dry yourself down, the towel becomes slimy. Ew. That's why we've come in to completely change the game.
Our towels feel totally different to what you might expect from a Quick Dry. In fact, we even get customers emailing in saying they aren't sure of the soft, smooth material and whether it'll be effective. We always reply with 'use the towel... trust us, you will love it!' and they do.
Dock & Bay towels are packed full of features which are simply down to how they are made. We can guarantee that they are quick-dry, super absorbent, smooth against the skin, sand-free (it brushes right off!), compact for travel and easy to care for.
But don't take it from us, you'll probably think we are biased. Try them yourself! With our 12 month warranty, you don't have anything to lose.
Absolutely nothing! Ok, not quite nothing, but they are all pretty similar!
Our stripy range (so Cabana, Summer, Boho & Jungle), the Eco and Classic towels are all made from the same material, however our awesome Eco range is made from 30% recycled materials, and with this, they are actually our softest range we offer!
Our magic cooling towels are infused with jade stone to keep you cool for up to 6hrs (even through those sweaty workouts!).
All of our terrific towels are sand-free, they are quick drying, super-absorbent, they won't hold on to any nasty odours and they pack down into a cute compact pouch for travel.
All of these towels (not to mention the Hair Wraps and Ponchos) feel super soft and smooth against the skin, and no, they don't feel like the microfibre cloths you might have in your cleaning cupboard.
Keep your eyes peeled for our new 100% recycled material which is being introduced into each collection over the next year. It won't change the feel or performance of the material whatsoever, but is helping us, and you, to do our bit.

If you have placed the order on Amazon or purchased it in one of our retailers, please get in touch with them to arrange a replacement or refund.
Stains can always be tough on white but after a few cool washes, our towels are able to be washed on a higher heat up to 60 degrees. That, coupled with a good stain lifting powder, should leave your towels sparkling. ✨🌈
The essentials for taking care of your Dock & Bay are:
Cold machine wash (under 30 degrees). After the first few washes it's ok to turn up the heat.
The pouches are hand wash only and should not go in the washing machine.
Don't mix your white shirt or dress with a coloured towels (or coloured anything), it can lead to tears! We also recommend not washing our stripy towels and block colour towels in the same wash. Just to be on the safe side!
Try not to use fabric softener, as over time it can reduce the absorbency of the towel. Using fabric softener will not destroy your towel the first time it is used, but over time, it can degrade the performance of your product, and we want it to last as long as possible for you!
Do not bleach, or put near fire or hot implements.
Tumble drying is ok if you need to, but air-drying is kinder to our products.
When the towel is new, we recommend that you follow the fold lines that are already in it, to use as a guide. Hopefully you'll pick up the technique quickly! If you're having any trouble, just get in touch with via our contact us page for more information.

If at first you don’t succeed, try try and try again! It took a little figuring out but we’ve been able to crack it and are in the process of changing all of our products to 100% recycled.
It's not an overnight process, unfortunately, but we are pledging for everything to be made from our new 100% recycled material by the end of 2020.

Our products are designed in-house in our London head office, by our lovely designers Sophie and Vickie (with a lot of opinions from the rest of the team!) and manufactured by our awesome team in China!
No. All our products are regularly tested for harmful Azo Dyes through Intertek testing.
All our factories have to complete regular ethical audits to ensure working standards are maintained. These are often done through both Sedex and Amfori BSCI.
All our towels that have ‘recycled’ elements have been created with post-consumer plastic, that meets the Global Recycled Standards, with appropriate certification.

The majority of our towels are made from 80% polyester and 20% polyamide.
Our Swim Shorts and Cooling Towels are made from 100% polyester.
Our pouches are all made from 100% biodegradable cotton.
Currently, our Swim Shorts and Dock & Bay x WDC charity towel are made from 100% recycled materials, but watch this space! We're in the process of transitioning all our towels to 100% recycled. Exciting times ahead!
All of our Quick Dry towels and hair wraps can be personalised (not including charity collaborations)!
The cost is added to your item total and ranges from £10 for initials (up to 3 characters) and £12 for up to 12 characters (including spaces).
Please note that we do not tolerate any expletives or offensive language on personalised products and we have the right to refuse personalisation and cancel the order at our discretion
Personalisation will increase your delivery time by up to 4 days so express shipping is not available for these orders.

They do indeed! Every product in each set will come packaged in its own pouch or gift box (depending on the products ordered).

We process orders almost immediately and most of the time cannot accept cancellations or changes to orders placed. Simply select the amount you would like to give, enter recipients email address, recipient's name and a little message and voila! It’s sent straight over to their inbox for them to use on whatever they wish.
To pay with the gift card, please enter the number in the gift card box at checkout before payment (do not confuse this with the discount code box!).
As soon as you have purchased the gift card, it will be sent immediately to your email address. Please ensure that you have entered your email correctly. You will then need to send this on to the recipient.
All of our gift cards are electronic and we don't have a physical version currently available. You can certainly print off a copy of the e-gift card if you wish to give it to somebody in person!
Gift Cards can only be used online via our website on the country page on which they were purchased and are not valid for use with any of our stockists or other websites such as Amazon.
For example, a gift card purchased on our Australian website can only be redeemed on the Australian website.
You certainly can. If your order total is more than the value of the gift card then you'll need to enter your preferred payment method to cover the additional cost.
If your order is less than the value of the gift card, the remaining balance will simply stay on that gift card, ready for you to use another time!
Anything returned that was paid with a gift card will be refunded onto the gift card.

All our products are made in China. Our two founders, Andy & Ben visit the factories at least once a year and have strong relationships with the teams over there. They ensure all factories we work with have up to date ethical audits to maintain working standards.
